By 2024, our team grew to include specialists in field operations, project management, and strategic development—positioning us to scale our impact regionally.
2020
In 2020, we deepened our partnerships with public agencies and nonprofits, leading multiple watershed-scale restoration efforts across Western Washington.
2016
In 2016, we expanded our team and services to include forest health assessments and long-term stewardship planning.
2012
By 2012, we completed our first large-scale riparian restoration project, setting a new standard for multi-year native planting and invasive species control.

In 2009, Applied Ecology was founded with a mission to restore ecological balance through science-based, site-specific solutions.
